Magnesium and diabetes
Magnesium is absolutely crucial for the production, function and transport of insulin, the hormone which keeps blood sugar levels under control and pushes sugar into the muscles for use. Malfunction of the hormones function leads to diabetic conditions.
In addition to this extra body fat appears to prevent the cells in the body from using magnesium to breakdown carbohydrates for energy. This can obviously create a vicious circle of magnesium deficiency, weight gain and diabetic conditions.
We also know that toxic metals such as mercury (yes the metal that may well fill your mouth in the form of fillings), flouride (yes the one found in tap water and dental products), lead and arsenic cause the destruction of beta cells in the pancreas.
Given that these cells produce insulin, high levels of these metals can clearly cause diabetes.
Want to know something else to shock you?
Arsenic is also a major player in this process and is found in a lot of chicken feed as it was found to cause fast growth in the poor birds. You then happily chomp on the meat ingesting the arsenic.
The good news is that healthy doses of transdermal magnesium spray helps to chelate (detoxify and flush out) these toxic metals.
Magnesium and strokes
Ischemia (a lack of oxygen) is a primary cause of heart disease and strokes and incidents of the two have been found to be much lower in hard water areas where the water naturally has a higher level of magnesium.
What’s our typical response?
We give people Warfarin to help prevent blood clotting and aid oxygen flow, which by the way is the main ingredient in rat poison as it causes fatal haemorraging.
Interesting.
Given that we know magnesium is important in lowering blood pressure through being a strong dilater of blood vessels, keeping the heart muscle from going into spasm and lowering cholesterol (using the same mechanism as statin drugs) it begs the question why we don’t dose up on magnesium, a natural mineral, before taking rat poison.
Magnesium and psychological issues
Even a mild deficiency of magnesium can cause sensitivity to noise, nervousness, irritability, mental depression, confusion, twitching, trembling,
apprehension and insomnia.
You probably recognise one or more of these symptoms from your daily life.
Symptoms can develop further. The more you recognise, the more likely it is you need to start start magnesium supplementation as soon as possible.
Short-term
Irritability, anxiety, anorexia, fatigue, insomnia, muscle twitching, confusion, poor memory, poor attention, reduced ability to learn.
Medium term
Rapid heart beat, irregular heart beat, other cardiovascular changes.
Severe
Full body tingling, numbness, sustained muscle contraction, hallucinations, delirium and finally dementia.
This next quote is from Dr Marc Circus about why kids are experiencing more and more behavioural and pssychological problems.
I love it, not because it’s funny but because it hits so many nails on the head at once…
“Children are born under medical stress with unnatural procedures and drugs, they are then vaccinated, i.e. bombarded with chemicals, dosed out with antibiotics, eat nutritionally deficient food, watch inordinate amounts of TV, suffer through educational curriculums that, to the, have no relevance to their lives, undergo exposure to thousands of chemical poisons in the environment and home, get more vaccines, stuff their faces to the point of obesity while suffering from malnutrition, only to have to suffer through being drugged by psychiatrists further for becoming the mess they have become”.
Magnesium, PMS Symptoms and The Menopause
This could be a book in itself and again I’ll try to give you ladies the main points rather than going to much into estrogen exposure etc.
First women with PMS have been found to have lower levels of magnesium in their rood blood cells than those without symptoms.
Second, magnesium is crucial for mood regulation which could explain why those who get PMS symptoms (due to lower magnesium levels) also tend to have, shall we say, irritability issues around us guys….
Third, low magnesium levels often result in menstrual migraines.
Interestingly, cocoa has been found to have high magnesium levels. Could this be the link to why many women get chocolate cravings at certain times of the month.
They may well not be craving chocolate per se but the magnesium buried within!
Sorry ladies, there goes your final excuse!
Next up we know that ladies can get changes in body temperature around their period. Magnesium has a sedative effect on the central nervous system thus reducing neuromuscular excitability and temperature roller coasters.
With regards to the menopause, magnesium has been shown to boost energy levels thus helping those experiencing premature menopause from the common crashing fatigue.
The use of contraceptives and estrogen replacement therapies (usually centred around the menopause) have been shown to decrease magnesium levels further thus often causing severe depression.
Hot flashes? Read again that the sedative effect can help control swings in body temperature.
So all in all women can expect more comfort, less cravings and less mood disturbances during their period and a much smoother transition into the menopause.
Good news for ladies and men alike!
In all seriousness you should now be crystal clear as to why ignoring magnesium is foolish at best and dangerous to your health at worst!
Transdermal magnesium oil (a spray applied to the skin) has been found to be far more efficient in terms of absorption and effect on all areas of the body’s function.
You should start with low doses and build up as your body adapts.
A suggested dose would be 4-5 sprays on each arm, building to 8-10 on each arm.
If you have a particular muscle or joint issue, spraying this dose directly on to the area should bring a degree of relief, perhaps even total relief after a short time.
Your improved sleep will contribute to the healing process.
SUMMARY
Magnesium chloride, applied to using a transdermal spray directly to skin, may just change your life. End of story.
Should you wish to purchase Transdermal Magnesium Chloride, please speak to one of the Storm Force Fitness team at your next session.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU TAKE DOXYCYCLINE, MINOCYCLINE YOU SHOULD LEAVE A GAP BETWEEN TAKING THE MEDICATION AND USING MAGNESIUM SIMPLY BECAUSE THE MAGNESIUM MAY MAKE THE MEDICATION LESS EFFECTIVE.
IF YOU TAKE THE DIABETIC MEDICATIONS, GLIPIZIDE OR GLYBURIDE YOU MAY LIKE TO CONSULT YOUR GP AS MAGNESIUM NATURALLY LOWERS BLOOD SUGAR SO THE TWO TOGETHER CAN LEAD TO HYPOGLYCEMIC CONDITIONS.
