I can’t stand seeing fat people shoveling crap in their faces. Quite honestly, it annoys and offends me.
Their choice? Maybe.
Detrimental to the whole of society? DEFINITELY. So yes, your food choices do affect me.

Many people find it hard to imagine that you can take two diets identical in calories, differing in macronutrient makeup — say high carb vs. ultra-low carb — and lose more weight with one than the other. Or better yet, gain weight with one and lose weight with the other. A calorie is a calorie right?

There’s been a lot of focus on nutrients for the past several decades, trans-fats, saturated fats, simple/bad carbs, complex/good carbs…all in place of ‘the whole.’ Where has that approach taken us? What if in doing so we’ve actually made things worse for ourselves? A call for returning to a whole foods approach…

This is going to be an interesting one to keep track of in terms of predicting weight loss.
It’s always nice when science catches up with reality. For anyone that’s been on a fat-loss program for any period of time, you already know this to be true. But now there’s real evidence, and hopefully progress to be made and help on the way in the science of fat loss!
