“Having suffered with   PVFS (Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome)  or ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy)  as most doctors refer for what is an illness of uncertain cause and cannot be identified, for over 10 years after contracting a life threatening virus whilst travelling.  I generally had no energy, no strength and was constantly tied.

I have tried everything and anything from,  Acupuncture to Reike, every wonder juice and alternative medicine known to man, to no avail.

To make matters worse 7 years ago I had a prolapsed disc in my lower back, which resulted in surgery and 6 x weeks layed up. Since this I have lost total confidence in the ability to exercise, firstly the PVFC loses all will to do anything, and the fear for further injury to my back put a stop to pretty much any form of exercise.

My strength dwindled and my weight gained to a hefty very unfit 17 stone, like everybody i have dieted, and can never get below 16 and ½ stone.

10 weeks ago I went to see Jon Le Tocq, and after a consultation with Jon, he put together a nutrition plan and a fitness routine that will help give me more energy, strengthen my back and general well being.

I am now 14 stone 6, running 5k in 35 minutes and dead lifting 110kg. After 10 weeks!!!!

110kg may not be a lot to some, but believe me when you have struggled to pick up a 20kg suitcase on holiday, it’s a big deal.

Most importantly of all, my energy levels have increased massively,  I get to 2.30pm without feeling the need for a sleep, and can keep focused in meetings well into the evening. Don’t get me wrong, I have a long way to go, but after 10 years of struggling at last I’m getting somewhere.

Kettlebell Tour Testimonials

I did Jon’s Kettlebell tour last year as I wanted something new and interesting to use in the Circuit training class I run . I found it really informative , lots of hands on learning, and clear instruction from Jon .  I now use the Kettlebell as a major part of my own fitness training as well, I find it is a great compliment to Yoga [which is what I mainly teach] as it builds strength, whilst encouraging a great range of movement.
